There's a lot that governments don't tell you

and neither will the traditonal media throw proper focus on this danger ... that's why they are dying and blogs are taking off. How many of us have heard about laser attacks on planes ? This is the kind of danger that can be easily prevented if there is full disclosure made to the public at large. Alert citizens would be able to pinpoint the location of the miscreants in their midst and the authorities would be able to deal with these low lives before a disaster occurs. Is the media and the powers that be waiting for an actual plane crash before they make this info public?

In Gemany: From January to the middle of September, there were 229 laser attacks on planes and helicopters, the Federal Agency of Aviation (LBA) has announced – a massive rise on the 35 reported for the whole of last year.

In Switzerland: 40 laser attack's on airline pilot's are reported around Switzerland for the year 2009. This year has proven even more shocking, over the running 7 months 40 attack's are reported, that's much more than over the whole last year. These lasers are not given enough of a "danger rating", but in reality these lasers are very dangerous.

In UK : The British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa) has urged the Government to take action, claiming that passenger lives were being put at risk. Balpa said the number of incidents across the country had increased from three in 2003 to 29 in 2007 and 206 last year.

In Ireland: Dangerous lasers were targeted at almost 30 planes from one Irish airline which were trying to land at Dublin Airport last year.

In the USA: ...Eyewitness News has learned this plane was the third to have a laser beam pointed into its cockpit at JFK on Saturday. It happened again on Sunday at LaGuardia. Now, the FBI is investigating.

In Canada: ...Kerrin Mobbs is an air ambulance pilot and says that about seven weeks ago, he was attacked by a laser as he was doing a patient transport from Pembroke to Ottawa Civic Hospital.
