Donald Cook armed with bear repellent on way to Black Sea

Don't you just love war games!

From ChineseNetEnglish:
US destroyer Donald Cook passes Dardanelles Strait early Thur.
The newspaper published an online video showing the US warship passing through the Dardanelles Strait off the coast of Northern Turkey early Thursday morning.

It was accompanied by Turkish coastguard vessels. According to the report, the destroyer will remain in the Black Sea for 21 days.

The French intelligence warship, Dupuy de Lome, also entered the Black Sea on Thursday.

The US had earlier sent the USS Truxtun to the Black Sea but it has since left the area. US defense officials say the deployment is a show of "support for the Ukrainians" and to reassure NATO allies.
