Ending the year with cartoons

Wannabe Caliph Erdogan makes it quite clear that he will annihilate "militant" Kurds, which of course will translate ...

to all Kurds whether they be proven militant or not.

From AlMonitor
Erdogan says Kurdish militants will be 'annihilated'

Erdogan vows to crush Kurdish "self-rule" movement
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Kurdish militants Dec. 15 that “you will be annihilated,” and pledged that Turkish security forces will continue their massive military assault on Kurdish towns in southeastern Turkey until they are “completely cleansed and a peaceful atmosphere established."

Metin Gurcan reports that the escalation in military operations in towns where Kurdish militants associated with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) have taken hold has increased the possibility of a civil war.

“At the moment, the Turkish army is moving tanks and armored vehicles to lay siege to those towns,” Gurcan writes. “Checkpoints have already been established at the towns' entrances. In many towns, particularly in Cizre, Silopi and Nusaybin, education has been halted with an extremely unusual move by the Ministry of Education, which sent text messages to about 3,000 public teachers instructing them to return to their hometowns for "on-the-job training." Since nobody believes such training would be done in the middle of the school year by closing schools, it is seen as a sign of approaching battles, further panicking the population. Now, teachers and other civil servants are rapidly evacuating these towns. Those who couldn’t find buses to get out were seen walking and hitchhiking.”

Amberin Zaman reports on the trend of increased radicalization of the PKK, including the rise of an armed youth movement loyal to imprisoned PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan.

“In a clutch of towns and cities across Turkey’s mainly Kurdish southeast, armed youngsters loyal to Abdullah Ocalan, the imprisoned PKK leader, and calling themselves the Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H), have seized control of entire streets and neighborhoods, erecting barriers and declaring autonomy,” Zaman reports. “The spirit of rebellion has permeated Sur, where pro-PKK slogans and posters of the mustachioed Ocalan cover bullet-riddled walls. Several young fighters interviewed by Al-Monitor all said that they would end their revolt only if ordered to do so by Ocalan. But since April 6, the Turkish authorities have not allowed any of his regular visitors, including the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) lawmakers who used to carry messages from him, to meet with Ocalan in his island prison. The resulting vacuum has been filled by Cemil Bayik, the hard-line PKK commander who says he supports the YDG-H’s moves.”..........

On the Star Wars latest film

Thought provoking article. If you haven't seen the film, there might be a spoiler within the article below. You have been warned!

Christopher S Morrissey writing at TheCatholicWorldReport
...If every generation has to contend with an adjacent-generation family member going over to the Dark Side, and if every generation has to defeat an existential threat of Death Star-sized proportions, then either nothing is new under the sun (on Jakku or Tatooine), or else the Force is somehow perpetually able to awaken that which is new and beautiful and good. ........

....The idea that the Force maintains the balance between good and evil is more fully explained here. If this balance were simply the affirmation of a cyclical dualism of good and evil in which, at least from the standpoint of the endless cycle of history, the two sides were morally equivalent, then the Force would be an almost nonsensical idea. Why fight for the good, if the Dark Side is nothing but the other side of the same cosmic coin? ....

The Huron Carol "Jesous Ahatonhia" written by Jesuit priest Jean de Brebeuf

This is my favorite Christmas carol.  It was written by Fr Jean de Brebeuf (see bio below vid)

Here's what the poster of the vid at YouTube says:

This version performed by Heather Dale, and sung in Wendat (Huron), French and English. Please consider purchasing this music from her if you loved it, as she is an independent artist! Peace :)
The "Huron Carol" (or "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime") is a Christmas hymn, written in 1643 by Jean de Brébeuf, a Christian missionary at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons in Canada. Brébeuf wrote the lyrics in the native language of the Huron/Wendat people; the song's original Huron title is "Jesous Ahatonhia" ("Jesus, he is born"). The song's melody is a traditional French folk song, "Une Jeune Pucelle" ("A Young Maid"). The well known English lyrics were written in 1926 by Jesse Edgar Middleton.

From Biographi Canada:
BRÉBEUF, JEAN DE    (called Échon by the Hurons), priest, Jesuit, founder of the Huron mission; b. 25 March 1593 at Condé-sur-Vire in Lower Normandy; martyred 16 March 1649 at the village of Saint-Ignace in the Huron country (in the region of Midland, Ontario), canonized 29 June 1930 by Pius XI and proclaimed by Pius XII on 16 Oct. 1940 patron saint of Canada along with his seven martyred companions.

Among Jean de Brébeuf’s ancestors are said to have been companions-in-arms of William the Conqueror and of St. Louis, king of France, and his family, it is said, may be related to the English earls of Arundel. We know nothing of his immediate family. History has, however, preserved the names of two of his nephews: Georges de Brébeuf (1617–61), a minor poet of the 17th century, and Nicolas de Brébeuf (1631–91), prior of Saint-Gerbold, on the outskirts of Caen.

When he was 24 Brébeuf entered the Jesuit noviciate in Rouen. After two years (1617–19) under Father Lancelot Marin’s direction he was appointed teacher of the first form in the secondary school (1619–20), then of the second form (1620–21) at the Collège in Rouen. During his second year of teaching he was incapacitated by illness, but he had enough strength left to prepare for the priesthood, which he received in 1622 at Pontoise. From 1622 to 1625 he stayed at the Collège of Rouen, where he held the office of steward. Then he was chosen for the missions in New France by the provincial of France, Father Pierre Coton. He sailed from Dieppe in April 1625 and landed at Quebec in June, along with Fathers Charles Lalemant and Énemond Massé and two lay brothers, François Charton and Gilbert Burel.

Five months of a roving existence in the cold and the snow (20 Oct. 1625–27 March 1626) with a group of Montagnais Indians who lived near Quebec constituted his apprenticeship for the missionary life. Scarcely had he been initiated in the language and custom of the Algonkins when in the same year, 1626, his superior designated him, with Father Anne de Nouë, for the Huron country. In July for the first time Brébeuf travelled by canoe the 800 miles that separated Quebec from the Huron territory. The pages that he wrote later about conditions on this trip make of him, along with.....

What a "special relationship" with cavemen meant and still means to the USA

Great informative "must read" if you want to know just how much off the rails the USA and its Western allies have fallen.

Andrew Cockburn writing at Harpers
A Special Relationship

The United States is teaming up with Al Qaeda, again

One morning early in 1988, Ed McWilliams, a foreign-service officer posted to the American Embassy in Kabul, heard the thump of a massive explosion from somewhere on the other side of the city. It was more than eight years after the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, and the embassy was a tiny enclave with only a handful of diplomats. McWilliams, a former Army intelligence operative, had made it his business to venture as much as possible into the Soviet-occupied capital. Now he set out to see what had happened.

It was obviously something big: although the explosion had taken place on the other side of Sher Darwaza, a mountain in the center of Kabul, McWilliams had heard it clearly. After negotiating a maze of narrow streets on the south side of the city, he found the site. A massive car bomb, designed to kill as many civilians as possible, had been detonated in a neighborhood full of Hazaras, a much-persecuted minority.

McWilliams took pictures of the devastation, headed back to the embassy, and sent a report to Washington. It was very badly received — not because someone had launched a terrorist attack against Afghan civilians, but because McWilliams had reported it. The bomb, it turned out, had been the work of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the mujahedeen commander who received more CIA money and support than any other leader of the Afghan rebellion. The attack, the first of many, was part of a CIA-blessed scheme to “put pressure” on the Soviet presence in Kabul. Informing the Washington bureaucracy that Hekmatyar’s explosives were being deployed to kill civilians was therefore entirely unwelcome.......

Clash of Civilizations

Many a time I wish ferocious beings from outer worlds would invade Earth so we humans would unite as one to fight a real menace.  Haven't we have had enough of the wars on ourselves??

From Ron Paul Institute:
Are We in a Clash of Civilizations?
It is the extremists on both sides -- the radical Islamists and the neocons at home -- who are pushing a clash of civilizations to suit their own agendas, says Ron Paul in this brand new address. The idea that the western, "Christian" world is at a war to the death with Islam is a fantasy in the minds of both sides. The great danger is that this tiny minority on both sides can make headway, each earning its own recruits to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. They must be resisted. We must cling to the ideas of liberty, peace, and prosperity:

United Kingdom lets the USA take all the heat for supplying arms to the Middle East lunatics while, ...

as usual, it continues to quietly overload the cavemen nation and its allies with every kind of killing instrument.
More and more I find myself agreeing  with LaRouche that the main culprit is the UK whose agents have infiltrated the USA and are influencing the USA's disastrous foreign policies.

UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia fuel ongoing Yemen conflict, says Amnesty report
Amnesty and Saferworld say UK’s continued dealings with Saudi Arabia violate national, EU and international law

U.K. arms sales to Saudi Arabia are fuelling the ongoing conflict in Yemen, according to legal opinion obtained by humanitarian agencies.

Amnesty and Saferworld, which are both members of the Control Arms Coalition, said that the U.K.’s continued dealings with Saudi Arabia, in context of the latter’s intervention in Yemen, is in violation of national, European-Union and international law. Saudi Arabia is leading an airstrikes campaign in Yemen, the latest round of which killed at least 15 people on Monday.

The two humanitarian agencies sought the legal opinion of several international-law experts on the U.K.’s arms dealings with Saudi Arabia. The U.K. has issued more than 100 arms export licenses to Saudi Arabia since the airstrike campaign began in March, and licenses for exports to Saudi Arabia were worth more than £1.75 billion ($2.61 billion) between January and June, according to Amnesty..........

Closing of visa loopholes is definitely not for the cavemen nation ... No Siree !!

Saudi Arabia  can send as many wahhabi suicide bombers as their satanic heart desires and so also can the other wahhabi nations from that shithole region.
As I keep saying ... our world has gone mad, mad, mad, mad and all because of the USA's double standards.

Closing the Wrong Visa Loopholes

After the San Bernardino terror attack, Congress rushed to address security gaps in visa-free travel but addressed the wrong ones, leaving out visitors from “allied” countries such Saudi Arabia which have actually produced terrorists who attacked the U.S., note Georgianne Nienaber and Coleen Rowley.

By Georgianne Nienaber and Coleen Rowley

Only a few crickets chirped after our 2014 warning of gaps in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Our second post, however, came out at the same time the President and Congress had suddenly clicked into gear to tighten the program, obviously in reaction to the terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino.

Very likely their new-found concern is also due to officials having discovered the worrisome answer to our all-important question asking how many of the dozens of citizens from waiver participating countries — who now, in hindsight, have been identified as participants in recent terrorist incidents — were NOT ever listed on the key “terrorist watch lists.” Thus making them eligible to easily enter the U.S.

It’s been revealed that at least one of the Paris attackers would not have been flagged if he had sought to enter the U.S. through the VWP. Nor was San Bernardino shooter Malik who entered the U.S. on a “fiancé visa” reportedly on any of key databases. How many more are like that? We’ll only know if investigative reporters pry such embarrassing facts out of Homeland Security officials.  It’s good the President and Congress finally started worrying about visa travel but unfortunately Congress is still in denial about the real problems. We could not find any discussion of the deeper, root problem with the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) watch list, that even though it lists over 1.1 million persons, it is still somewhat under-inclusive (as well as very over-inclusive, with wrong names and other “hay” piled onto the stack).

What are the chances that some of the headchoppers Israel rescued, mended, healed and sent back into Syria, killed the Christians and Kurds in Tall Tamr who ...

had taken shelter in Assad-controlled areas?  We Christians should thank Israel for assisting ISIS in killing of Christians in Syria, right? Why do we need those peace-loving Christians anyway!  Oh you didn't know Israel was making whole wounded jihadis  so they could go back and jihad some more?  I am not surprised you didn't know that snippet of news as the media you watch and read keeps that fact nicely under wraps.  And, even when they do write about it, it is written in glorious terms as "look what a great humanitarian thing Israel is doing" ... Yes that's how much crazy our world has become.

From Sott.Net:
Three truck bombs killed up to 60 people
and injured more than 80 in the town of Tell Tamer in Syria's northeastern Al Hasakah province on Thursday, a spokesman for the Syrian Kurdish YPG has told Reuters.

The blasts struck near a Kurdish militia forces field hospital and in the crowded Souk Al Jumla market square, where the majority of the fatalities occurred. Most of the affected people were civilians, but there were some Kurdish and Assyrian self-defense fighters among them......

Just a handful of facts our wonderful governments stock full of the chosen elite ....

keep from us insignificant peasants.
Below just a few salient points from the article.

Ian Sinclair writing at OpenDemocracy
10 facts the government doesn’t want you to know about Syria

Fact 1: The West has been involved in the Syrian conflict since 2012 ....
....By March 2013 the New York Times was quoting experts who said these arms shipments totalled 3,500 tons of military equipment...

....By June 2015 US officials told the Washington Post that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had trained and equipped 10,000 Syrian rebels at a cost of $1bn.....

Fact 2: The West has known that extremists were prominent in the Syrian insurgency, and that the arms they sent into Syria have often ended up in the hands of extremists, since 2012.....

....After “extensive interviews with Syria policymakers from the Obama Administration” McClatchy’s Hannah Allam recently noted the Obama Administration “was warned early on [in 2012] that al Qaida-linked fighters were gaining prominence within the anti-Assad struggle.”

Despite this, from 2012 the US has given a wink and a nod to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey to support the Syrian rebels. ....

Fact 3: The US has encouraged ‘moderate’ rebel groups to work with the Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, and has probably knowingly supported jihadis itself ...
...Furthermore, in July 2015 the New York Times reported that although the US-trained Division 30 Syrian rebels were attacked by the Nusra Front when they entered Syria after their training, US officials said “they expected the Nusra Front to welcome Division 30 as an ally in its fight against the Islamic State.”

In addition, a formerly classified US Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) report from 2012 noted that “the Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI (al-Qaida in Iraq) are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.” The next sentence of the report is as follows: “The West, Gulf countries and Turkey support the opposition”........

Fact 4: The West has prolonged the fighting and blocked a peaceful solution to the conflict...
....In addition, Avi Shlaim, Professor Emeritus at Oxford University, recently explained that Western insistence that Syrian president Bashar Assad must step down sabotaged Kofi Annan’s UN efforts to set up a peace deal and forced Kofi Annan to resign. ....

Fact 5: The West has helped to create the conditions in Syria and Iraq that have allowed IS to grow and prosper...

Fact 6: The West’s allies in the region have been supporting extremists in Syria, including IS...
....According to an August 2014 article in the Washington Post, Turkey “rolled out the red carpet” to Islamic State and other jihadists fighting the Syrian Government. Wounded jihadists from IS and the Nusra Front were treated at Turkish hospitals while Turkish border towns became way stations for moving foreign fighters and arms into Syria. IS “were able to grow in power partly by using the border region of a NATO member – Turkey – as a strategically vital supply route and entry point to wage their war”, the Washington Post notes.....

Strange that Ian Sinclair, the author of this article which has links aplenty, fails to note that Israel too, like Turkey, has been rescuing, mending and re-sending headchoppers back into Syria. If only journalists could tell the whole truth and not leave out Israel's notorious role in the Syrian conflict, they would gain more credibility. IMO, having failed to include Israel's role in aiding jihadis, Sinclair fails as a true journalist desiring to tell the truth.

Fact 7: Western airstrikes in Syria and Iraq have killed hundreds of civilians...

Fact 8: Western bombing of IS is counterproductive and has likely boosted recruitment to the group....

Fact 9: Western airstrikes will likely contribute to the refugee crisis....

Fact 10: The Government’s claim that there are 70,000 moderate Syrian rebels willing to work with the West is completely bogus...

The slow and ugly process of the death of journalism

Good read from Robert Parry on the suicide of investigative journalist Gary Webb.

A Day When Journalism Died

Exclusive: Dec. 9 has a grim meaning for the Republic, the date in 2004 when investigative reporter Gary Webb, driven to ruin by vindictive press colleagues for reviving the Contra-cocaine scandal, took his own life, a demarcation as the U.S. press went from protecting the people to shielding the corrupt, writes Robert Parry.

By Robert Parry

Looking back over my four decades in the national news media, it’s hard to identify one moment when American journalism died. The process was a slow and ugly one, with incremental acts of cowardice accumulating until mainstream reporters were clearly part of the problem, not anything to do with a solution. But the date Dec. 9 has a special place in that sad progression.

It was on Dec. 9, 2004, when the mean-spirited mainstream media’s treatment of investigative journalist Gary Webb led him – his career devastated, his family broken, his money gone and his life seemingly hopeless – to commit suicide. It was a moment that should have shamed all the big-shot journalists who had a hand in Webb’s destruction, but it mostly didn’t.......

Missing and Murdered ... the Indigenous Women of Canada

A very sad situation.
First and above all, these women are often sexually abused by their own family members well before they reach their teens and thus the short road into prostitution and the never-ending horror of that profession which usually culminates into nothingness.

The first overhaul should be within the aboriginal policing sector to arrest and imprison the child molesters. If that sector is not corrected, this deplorable situation will continue without abate.

Netanyahu's Israel: "Please Mr. Alligator, eat me last"

Bibi-bots in Anglo countries are digging their own graves as well as digging the graves of their descendants.  The Netanyahu clan has been very efficient in starting civil wars and conflict in their neighbouring nations (of course with full support of the other Anglo nations) with the result that the uprooted Muslims from those lands are heading to the very same Anglo nations wherein reside the Bibi-bots.  Is that Karma or what!  The thinking with Netanyahu and his yes-men is that if you are on the jihadis' side, everything will come up smelling roses.

Try not to vomit when reading the article below.  Some readers who can think for themselves will be able to see how the Bibi-bots are in a frenzy at the comments section trying to make the whole story look like Israel is doing  "humanitarian" work.  Hilarious!  All the more so when even the word "human" is never found in the Israeli dictionary when Israelis are bombing the shit out of Palestinians.

Why is Netanyahu and gang hopeful and wishful that the Mid East will empty itself of thousands of the undesirable jihadis found aplenty over there?  Does he and his warmongering circle of ghouls  really and truly think Israel will become the top dog there when that happens or do they want the West to experience what they themselves have experienced from time to time?  Is Israel making its pigsty with the Sunni shitholes hoping all will be well if it goes along with the headchopping neighbours?  How did an intelligent community like the Jewish people arrive at this lethal stage of mental deficiency?  Are there too many intermarriages among the Jewish Israelis like there are with the Muslim neighbourhoods? Now, that would explain why their thinking has become so warped of late.

Go to the link and see the many pics of the "brave" Israelis mending and tending  to jihadis so they can live and headchop another day, in another place ... just as long as it is not in Israel.  What's not to love about that, eh?

Dramatic video filmed by MailOnline and the Israeli army shows these operations taking place
Israel says that the operation is purely humanitarian but analysts believe Israel also has strategic reasons

Under cover of darkness, an Israeli armoured car advances down the potholed road that leads to Syria.

As it crests a small hill, the driver picks up the radio handset and tells his commanding officer that the border is in sight.

He kills the engine. Ten heavily-armed commandos jump out and take cover, watching for signs of ambush. Then five of them move up to the 12ft chainlink fence that marks the limit of Israeli-held territory.

On the other side, on the very edge of Syria, lies an unconscious man wrapped like a doll in a blood-drenched duvet. The commandos unlock the fence, open a section of it and drag him onto Israeli soil......

Saudi Arabia is a potential solution to extremism ????????

Yup!  Just in case you haven't had a LOL today.
According to this nitwit journo whose silly article the NY Times has seen fit to include in their online edition, Saudi Arabia's  "close contact with extremism makes them among the most sophisticated voices against extremism."
He should have just stuck to the "Saudi Arabia is the problem"  and not gone to finish that sentence with "and solution to extremism"

Iyad El-Baghdadi at NYTimes
Saudi Arabia Is the Problem and Solution to Extremism

Saudi Arabia is a big contributor to the Middle East’s problems, but also a big part of its potential solution.

The regime presents itself as a bulwark against extremism, but the similarities between its own jurisprudence and ISIS’ are striking enough. Saudi Arabia is, after all, the “heartland” of the most illiberal reading of Islam, and has spent billions to spread and normalize it. Meanwhile, its foreign policy has committed resources to thwarting the Arab Spring, supporting Egypt’s coup, intervening in the Syrian civil war and invading Yemen – all in the name of “stability.”

But underreported is the story of Saudi society, which underwent rapid demographic modernization over the past two decades. Family size plummeted, while youth literacy rose to nearly 100 percent. Significantly, online connectivity rose sharply. The country has the second-highest smartphone penetration in the world, the Arab world’s biggest online population and the world’s highest per capita consumption of YouTube.

It is within this context that we must understand the phenomenon of Raif Badawy, Ashraf Fayyadh, Waleed Abulkhair or Hassan Farhan Al Maliki. These men are, after all, products of Saudi society. Their close contact with extremism makes them among the most sophisticated voices against extremism.

If Saudi Arabia “breaks,” it would be catastrophic for the region ....

PBS continuing with the program ... the program of brainwashing the sheeple

The title of the article below says ... PBS has "joined" the Syria-Russia Bias club.  However, IMO, PBS is a government tool and nothing but a tool and it hasn't "joined" the club just now, it is and has been the member of that club from day 1.

From ConsortiumNews:
PBS Joins the MSM’s Syria-Russia Bias
Mainstream U.S. media systematically excludes points of view on world affairs that deviate from Official Washington’s “group think.” With no lessons learned from the Iraq-WMD debacle, the MSM only lets on establishment or right-wing pundits with conformist points of view on crises with Syria and Russia, notes Rick Sterling.

By Rick Sterling

PBS Newshour is considered high-quality journalism by many North Americans. But is it? A test case is their report on Nov. 24 when a Russian jet was shot down and one pilot killed as he descended by parachute. This was a significant international event and the situation is still dangerous. The conflict in Syria could get even worse. PBS Newshour presented a discussion/analysis of the event with two guests: Nicholas Burns and Angela Stent. The PBS Newshour host was Judy Woodruff.

This critique applies to that one PBS Newshour broadcast but the essential points are true for much of what you see on the program (and across the mainstream U.S. news media). Assumptions and bias regarding the Syrian conflict are pervasive and persistent. So, how can U.S. foreign policy change (or even show some nuance) if the public is continually fed biased and false information from one point of view? Here are specific points:

—PBS Newshour selected two analysts with essentially the same viewpoint, representing the U.S. government and military/security establishment:

Nicholas Burns is a former U.S. Ambassador to NATO. In early 2003 he urged the “unity” of NATO as some NATO allies expressed doubts about the U.S. the invasion of Iraq. In 2006, he urged punishing sanctions on Iran. In 2011, Burn wrote, “President Obama was surely right to commit the United States, however reluctantly, to the NATO campaign [to overthrow Libyan President Gaddafi].” Burns has a track record supporting Western aggression against other countries. He evidently has learned nothing from the resulting chaos, devastation and death.

Angela Stent is associated with conservative think tanks and a former State Department and National Intelligence Officer. She is also author of the 2015 book “The Limits of Partnership: US-Russian Relations in the 21st Century.” Written in non-academic prose, the book explores what she considers four efforts by the U.S. to reset or start new relations with Russia following the Cold War.

Unfortunately the bias of the author is .............

After the downing of Russia's jet by Erdoganistan

I think France's Hollande has learnt a  bitter lesson after the terrorist attacks in Paris.  NOBODY can trust the USA to do the right thing in anything.  The EU has gone along with the bully empire in its quest to change the mapping of the Middle East and all in the hope of getting some scraps (oil fields, etc, etc) from the bully's table. The EU can salivate and drool for those scraps which are not likely to fall off the table, not ever.  While waiting for those scraps like dogs under a feasting table, the idiots have been bestowed instead with an invasion of bigger, fiercer dogs in the form of Muslim invaders in every nook and cranny of EU, while the instigator of all the wars that made the invasion possible, has the say-so on how many invaders refugees it will accept on its own soil.

Thus, we see poor Hollande, after pleading with the bully nation to give him permission to join up with Putin to try and do away with the jihadi scourge in Syria that Hollande has helped create, make his way to Moscow.  Obama probably sent him off with a "Make sure you say "Assad must go" understand?  That sentence MUST be included in every press conference."  And, of course, zombie Hollande does as master orders.  Ugly, ugly, ugly!

Make no mistake folks, everybody going in to "rid" the jihadis from Syria are going there to get a piece of the pie.  They don't want Assad around because they know that with Assad hanging around, Russia will get the biggest piece of the pie.  Some parts of the EU will be content to share the pie with Putin ... namely, France and Germany, maybe even UK (and only because of the new powerful opposition to Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn ).  Have
you seen how laden with oil some parts of Syria happen to be?  I had no idea Syria was sitting on such a huge sea of oil.

The above are my conclusions on the possibility of what we will likely see in the coming months. From the first two vids below, you can come to your own conclusions. I haven't watched the third one as yet, so no opinion.
And, oh yes ... expect a civil war in Turkey within the next two years, maybe sooner.  Karma is a bitch.

Saudi Arabia = an ISIS that has made it

I agree wholeheartedly!!   Anybody with half a brain can see it to be so.

Kamel Daoud writing at NYTimes
Saudi Arabia, an ISIS That Has Made It
Black Daesh, white Daesh. The former slits throats, kills, stones, cuts off hands, destroys humanity’s common heritage and despises archaeology, women and non-Muslims. The latter is better dressed and neater but does the same things. The Islamic State; Saudi Arabia. In its struggle against terrorism, the West wages war on one, but shakes hands with the other. This is a mechanism of denial, and denial has a price: preserving the famous strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia at the risk of forgetting that the kingdom also relies on an alliance with a religious clergy that produces, legitimizes, spreads, preaches and defends Wahhabism, the ultra-puritanical form of Islam that Daesh feeds on.
From Our Advertisers

Wahhabism, a messianic radicalism that arose in the 18th century, hopes to restore a fantasized caliphate centered on a desert, a sacred book, and two holy sites, Mecca and Medina. Born in massacre and blood, it manifests itself in a surreal relationship with women, a prohibition against non-Muslims treading on sacred territory, and ferocious religious laws. That translates into an obsessive hatred of imagery and representation and therefore art, but also of the body, nakedness and freedom. Saudi Arabia is a Daesh that has made it.

The West’s denial regarding Saudi Arabia is striking: It salutes the theocracy as its ally but pretends not to notice that it is the world’s chief ideological sponsor of Islamist culture. The younger generations of radicals in the so-called Arab world were not born jihadists. They were suckled in the bosom of Fatwa Valley, a kind of Islamist Vatican with a vast industry that produces theologians, religious laws, books, and aggressive editorial policies and media campaigns.

One might counter: Isn’t Saudi Arabia itself a possible target of Daesh? Yes, but to focus on that would be to overlook the strength of the.......

And, in other news, the spreader of the most disgusting strain of islam known as wahabism, is suing a twitter user for twitting something that the stink of a nation found offensive.  This is the stinkhole nation that the West is hugging to its heart.  Do you see any hope for citizens of the West?

From Newsweek:
Saudi Arabia To Sue Twitter User Who Called Poet's Death Sentence 'ISIS-Like'

DOHA (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's justice ministry plans to sue a Twitter user who compared the death sentence handed down on Friday to a Palestinian poet to the punishments meted out by Islamic State, a major government-aligned newspaper reported on Wednesday.

"The justice ministry will sue the person who described ... the sentencing of a man to death for apostasy as being `ISIS-like'," the newspaper Al-Riyadh quoted a source in the justice ministry as saying.

The source did not identify the Twitter user or the possible penalty.

On Friday, a Saudi Arabian court sentenced Palestinian poet Ashraf Fayadh to death for apostasy - abandoning his Muslim faith - according to trial documents seen by Human Rights Watch.

Fayadh was detained by the country's religious police in 2013 in Abha, in southwest Saudi Arabia, and then rearrested and tried in early 2014.

Saudi Arabia's justice system is based on Islamic Sharia law, and its judges are clerics from the kingdom's ultra- conservative Wahhabi school of Sunni Islam. In the Wahhabi interpretation of Sharia, religious crimes, including blasphemy and apostasy, incur the death penalty.

In January, liberal writer Raif Badawi was flogged 50 times after he was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 1,000 lashes for blasphemy last year, prompting an international outcry. Badawi remains in prison, but diplomats say he is unlikely to be flogged again...........

Paging Immigration Canada ... Single men AND single women should not be accepted as refugees ...

unless you want to shoulder the blame for Canadians getting killed violently in the near future by single jihadi women.

Go to the link below and read the entire article and  see for yourselves how plenty of young Syrian women have also become as sociopathic as the headchopping  jihadis they married one after another.

The author has interviewed just three women who managed to "escape" from Raqqa, the capital of the jihadi army.  There must be hundreds, if not thousands of this kind of jihadi wives in the mix of refugees now making their way to the West as legitimate refugees.

Immigration departments accepting refugees will have to be very, very careful that even young couples, those without kids,  are vetted again and again and again and again.  Women like the ones whose lives have been changed to jihadi norms and practices will probably make their way to the West with willing males (who might be ISIS-affliated or might not be).  If these women could stomach the jihadi lifestyle in Syria and even enjoy it most of the time,   chances are they will be harboring a kind of Stockholm-like syndrome deep within their psyches and within a few short years over here, could even wish for those days with nostalgia and longing.  Damaged goods can do plenty of damage.

ISIS Women and Enforcers in Syria Recount Collaboration, Anguish and Escape

SOUTHERN TURKEY — Dua had only been working for two months with the Khansaa Brigade, the all-female morality police of the Islamic State, when her friends were brought to the station to be whipped.
From Our Advertisers

The police had hauled in two women she had known since childhood, a mother and her teenage daughter, both distraught. Their abayas, flowing black robes, had been deemed too form-fitting.

When the mother saw Dua, she rushed over and begged her to intercede. The room felt stuffy as Dua weighed what to do.

“Their abayas really were very tight. I told her it was their own fault; they had come out wearing the wrong thing,” she said. “They were unhappy with that.”

Dua sat back down and watched as the other officers took the women into a back room to be whipped. When they removed their face-concealing niqabs, her friends were also found to be wearing makeup. It was 20 lashes for the abaya offense, five for the makeup, and another five for not being meek enough when detained........

American Drone Operators' description of children they drone: “fun-size terrorists”

Also, they liken killing children to “cutting the grass before it grows too long,”

Hmmm... where have I heard similar expressions?  Where in the Middle East is that kind of thinking ("mowing lawns every couple of years") a government approved policy?  Hmmm ... it will come to me perhaps a little later.  Being a dodo, I am slow on the uptake.

Murtaza Hussain writing at TheIntercept:
Former Drone Operators Say They Were “Horrified” By Cruelty of Assassination Program
U.S. DRONE OPERATORS are inflicting heavy civilian casualties and have developed an institutional culture callous to the death of children and other innocents, four former operators said at a press briefing today in New York.

The killings, part of the Obama administration’s targeted assassination program, are aiding terrorist recruitment and thus undermining the program’s goal of eliminating such fighters, the veterans added. Drone operators refer to children as “fun-size terrorists” and liken killing them to “cutting the grass before it grows too long,” said one of the operators, Michael Haas, a former senior airman in the Air Force. Haas also described widespread drug and alcohol abuse, further stating that some operators had flown missions while impaired.

In addition to Haas, the operators are former Air Force Staff Sgt. Brandon Bryant along with former senior airmen Cian Westmoreland and Stephen Lewis. The men have conducted kill missions in many of the major theaters of the post-9/11 war on terror, including Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan............

Some of the drone operators who seem to have found their long lost conscience have come forward to relate their experiences. Below is vid showing a small part of the explosive exposure.  Go to link below to see the entire show:

From Console to Trigger: How Pentagon "Exploits" Video Game Culture to Wire Youth for War
Among the issues tackled in the new documentary film "Drone" is the connection between video games and military recruitment. We air a clip from the film and speak to its director, Tonje Hessen Schei, as well as drone war whistleblower Brandon Bryant. "I think gamers should be offended that the military and the government are using [video games] to manipulate and recruit," Bryant says. "We’re more interconnected now than at any time in human history — and that’s being exploited to help people kill one another."......

Any little respect I had for the Financial Times is now dead because ...

in the article below three of their journalist taking credit for the article have this quote:
Jihadis’ oil operation forces even their enemies to trade with them
You gotta wonder if at least one, if not all three writing, are being paid under the table by the powers-that-be in Israel and Turkey (two main buyers of stolen goods from jihadis) to put out this disinformation so the "buyers" of stolen goods are made to look like victims instead of ISIS's godfathers.

Erika Solomon, Guy Chazan,Sam Jones writing at FinancialTimes
Isis Inc: how oil fuels the jihadi terrorists

Jihadis’ oil operation forces even their enemies to trade with them

On the outskirts of al-Omar oilfield in eastern Syria, with warplanes flying overhead, a line of trucks stretches for 6km. Some drivers wait for a month to fill up with crude.

Falafel stalls and tea shops have sprung up to cater to the drivers, such is the demand for oil. Traders sometimes leave their trucks unguarded for weeks, waiting for their turn....

Below is vid from RT on the oil trucks running for miles towards their eagerly awaiting customers in the two neighbouring countries of Turkey and Israel.

If you got all your news from only the Western MSM, you wouldn't even know that 44 human beings in Lebanon were blown to bits on November 12 ...

and that 200+ were wounded.

Ali Hashem writing at AlMonitor:
Has the Islamic State returned to Lebanon?

The similarity of separate attacks in Lebanon recently could be a signal that the Islamic State (IS) is planning a series of suicide bombings there, possibly to pressure Hezbollah to pull its forces out of Syria.
People are mourning in Burj el-Barajneh, a southern Beirut suburb hit Nov. 12 by twin explosions that killed at least 43 people and wounded more than 200. Most of the victims were residents of the busy neighborhood on the edge of Beirut’s international airport.

“[It was] only a few minutes between the first explosion and the second [explosion],” said Ali Husseini, a local who witnessed the aftermath of the attack. Husseini, a teacher, explained the timeline of the tragedy to Al-Monitor. “We first heard an explosion and rushed to the main street to see what happened. As I ran through the alleyways, another explosion rocked the place. It was clear to me that I was heading into carnage.”

Claims that three or four suicide bombers had been involved in the attack circulated among people on the scene. Some rumors, however, were quickly discredited. An image was widely shared via mobile message that claimed to show one of the attackers, but an online search by Al-Monitor confirmed it was an image from July of this year, from Taif, Saudi Arabia. Several media reports suggested the evening of the attack that Lebanese security forces arrested one of the suicide bombers, yet these reports were later refuted. The only person who appeared on TV channels as an alleged would-be bomber turned out to be a passerby from the area who was deemed suspicious by security personnel. Some outlets even named him and claimed he was from Tripoli, north Lebanon.

A Lebanese security source, speaking to Al-Monitor on condition of anonymity, claimed that “most probably there was only one suicide bomber. He parked the booby-trapped motorcycle, detonated it, then tried to find his way toward the mosque where a religious ceremony was being held, but he was obstructed.”

The suicide bomber was stopped by Adel Tormos, a 34-year-old man who sacrificed his life to save tens of lives in the nearby mosque. Tormos, a father of two, died as he tried to prevent the suicide bomber from.......

What are French Muslims saying? How are the refugees taking the renewed hatred towards them ...

all due  to the pitiful state they have been reduced to because of the satanic powers-that-be at the helm of our planet?

On my recent sojourn to parts of the EU, I saw refugees in Greece, Italy and Turkey who have been reduced to begging.  In Turkey the cruel govt there makes them wear a cardboard sign around their necks which says in English "I am a Syrian refugee" ... how demeaning is that!  Erdogan wants to show that the only beggars in Turkey happen to be Syrians and Turks are well fed and taken care of.  That might be the case, but it was still saddening to see such signs on human beings. I managed to speak to a refugee, a man wearing the sign around his neck and accompanied by a little girl of around 7 years or so.  He told us that he was from a village in Hama which was invaded by ISIS 2 years ago.  We had learnt to carry with us packaged goodies to pass around to the unfortunates we came across along with a few coins.  We also met a woman in Athens with a horde of kids.  If you had seen the sorrow in her eyes you would have been touched too ... unless you have lost all trace of humanity you have ever had.
Surprisingly, we didn't see Syrian refugees in the part of Spain (Catalonia) we visited. Perhaps because African refugees have set up shop there (lots of them as street hawkers) seen in touristy areas.
The  outlying area of France we visited was sparsely populated and although I did hear Arabic spoken here and there I concluded the speakers were Lebanese citizens of France.

As far as I am concerned, giving refuge to refugees in Canada is nothing to be afraid of as long as they are fully vetted and only families gain access and no single young men are let in ... because those are the ones who might be from ISIS.  Some of the churches in Toronto have already started sponsoring refugee families running away from conflicts in Africa. (Syria is not the only country with an outflow of refugees).

I wonder if Charlie Hebdo will print a "sex tape" cartoon of the France citizens killed in the terrorist attack of November 13 ...

something on the lines of their turd titled "Crash dans le Sinai  - Enfin la Sextape"  after the Russian plane crash and the horrific death of 224 innocent passengers.
Come on Charlie Hebdo Shithole ... show us your "talent" and "humor"  with a "sextape" on your own dead citizens ?

From Newsweek:
Russia Outraged At Charlie Hebdo Cover Depicting Sinai Plane Crash
French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has once again prompted outrage in Russia by publishing a cartoon on its new cover that likens the crash of the Russian Metrojet liner in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula to a sex act.

The latest issue landed on newsstands on Wednesday with a cover cartoon showing what appears to be the Russian A321 liner with a missile penetrating its tail. The caption reads “The crash in Sinai: Finally the sex tape.”

The magazine, which often prints controversial depictions of current events, also published cartoons of the crash, which killed 224 people, in its issue last week. The cartoons were received with great offense in Russia: The Kremlin branded them “sacrilege” while members of parliament in Russia labeled the artists “scumbags” and called for a media campaign, mocking France......

What are the bets that weapons used by jihadis in Paris were French-made and supplied to the "moderates" in Syria?

Karma is a bitch !

The moment I heard about the terrorist attacks in Paris, I thought of what Assad had said about 3 years ago on the stupidity of the West in supporting terrorists groups.  He is on record as saying that "terrorism is like a scorpion that you can't keep in your pocket without it stinging you" or words to that effect.
He had predicted almost 3 years ago that the West's support of his enemies intention to destablize Syria and bring about his govt's downfall would backfire with the jihadis turning against their masters and bringing terror to the "heart of Europe and the US" ... and lo and behold, it has come to pass .... at least the first part of it....for now.

From RT dated April 2013
....In the statement that was made on Wednesday to state channel Al Ikhbariya, Assad warned that "The West has paid heavily for funding Al-Qaeda in its early stages. Today it is doing the same in Syria, Libya and other places, and will pay a heavy price in the heart of Europe and the United States."

He stressed that "from the first day, what is happening in Syria is dictated from abroad."

Assad’s interview also comes within a week of jihadist extremists the Al Nusra Front swearing support to Al-Qaeda’s commander Ayman al-Zawahiri, who’s idea it had been initially to turn Syria into an Islamic state.

The president continued to say that Syria was “facing a new war, a new method, with fighters, some of whom are Arabs, not Syrians," and that the "army is not fighting a war to liberate Syrian territory, but a war on terror."

While the president did say that progress was being made, he also pointed toward some “big powers, in particular the United States, that do not accept countries to be independent; they want them to be submissive." Although the West has claimed on occasion not to be supporting Al-Qaeda, Assad added that "everyone who carries weapons and attacks civilians is a terrorist, be they Al-Qaeda or not."....

Wasn't France's government eagerly funding, arming and training the jihadis so they could continue committing  those atrocious acts in Syria?  Hadn't we heard and seen aplenty what the "moderates" did with their weapons and how equally good they were at headchopping and maybe even better than their wahhabi shits in ISIS in making friends with influential people both in the USA and France?  Don't we know that the thousands of tonnes of state-of-the-art weapons were sold by the West's beloved "moderates" to the West's less beloved ISIS and to anyone having the money to buy the goodies?

From BBC dated  March 2013
France's president has defended his plan to supply arms to Syria's rebels, as activists mark two years since the anti-government uprising began.

Speaking after an EU meeting, Francois Hollande said the rebels had given guarantees that weapons would not fall into the wrong hands.

France and the UK want the EU to lift its arms embargo, but Germany says it has not yet decided if it agrees....

Here's more on how the French govt wallowed in bed with jihadis in Syria.

From WSWS dated Aug 2014
France admits it    directly supplied arms to Syrian “rebels”
President François Hollande confirmed in a Le Monde interview on August 19 that France has been directly supplying arms to the “rebels” of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in its proxy war to remove the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. This came ahead of the recent US decision to intervene militarily in Syria, ostensibly to crush the Islamic State (IS) opposition militia operating in Iraq and Syria.

French imperialism has been arming Syrian Islamist opposition forces since at least the spring of 2013. According to Le Monde, it provided weapons including 12.7-mm machine guns, rocket launchers, body armour and communications equipment—but “ nothing”, according to a Le Monde source, “which ‘could have been turned against us’ such as explosives”. The same weapons are also being shipped to the Peshmerga Kurdish militias in northern Iraq to stop the progress of the IS takeover, a direct product of the US war in Iraq.........

It is always the innocent citizens of the Western world who suffer the most for the disastrous foreign policy actions taken by the bastards they naively elect to high office.  The bastards never ever give a thought of what could happen to their own citizens if things didn't go according to their macabre roadmap to regime changes here, there, everywhere.  As long as they can make millions for themselves by shovelling big contracts to the armament making corporations, all's well with their world.

How many Western politicians have been killed by jihadis to date?  Any you know of?
How many ordinary citizens of the West have been sacrificed to date because the bastards in power think of us as fodder and nothing more?
Would the EU, and to a lesser extent, North America, be faced with the refugee/migrant invasion we see today if not for the idiots placed in high office?
Would there be so many wars all over the MidEast if we had true patriots as politicians instead of lackeys with their tongues hanging out for a taste of the riches offered by Israel and Saudi Arabia in return for fighting wars on their behalf?

Those who carry water for foreign powers and are clamoring for the break-up of Syria, please don't whine now about Muslim refugees/migrants flooding your lands, looting your homes and raping your women. You contributed to this crisis.  STFU and enjoy the future.

Truth is always extremely difficult to swallow and that's the reason why so many prefer to keep their heads firmly lodged in the sand.

How countries play "show me yours and I will show you mine"

From the time the Russian plane was destroyed, we have moved closer to the inevitable.  Whether you like it
or not, it's upon us. The IT is whatever you want to make of it.  Is the IT going to be worldwide?
Will the IT encompass Canada too?  Will the IT ensnare  the entire planet? Will the IT come about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year?  Everything we see, read or hear  from the moment the plane was brought down, is nothing else but ingenuous ways to waylay our opinions.  Can't you see the intensity of the propaganda?  Have we become so blinded with Kadashian's butt and Catlin's crotch that we have let each and every brain cell dry up and die?

Let's leave the incident of the Russian plane aside as I have thoughts on it that are neither to do with engine failure or bomb explosion.
Let's just go with whatever the Brits and the Americans and the Russians, but to be smaller degree, are opining on that crime.
Let's just go with the "bomb destroyed the airplane" scenario to keep it simple and neat.  Let's just say there was no element of the "show me yours and I will show you mine" game moves in that horrendous crime.

However, let's not dismiss the explosions of arsenal depots in China, as accidents.  Those should be definitely included in the game.

Now we come to the two instances below which are 100% to do with a game and that gives a whole different meaning to the word "play" when nations like the USA and Russia are "playing"  the game.

Russian TV "Accidentally" Leaks Footage of Classified Nuclear Torpedo Design
During a meeting of military officials in Sochi, Russian TV crews captured footage of a document not intended for public consumption. The supposedly “secret data,” which was subsequently shown on Russian television, revealed details of a “nuclear torpedo” designed to inflict “assured unacceptable damage” to enemy coastal installations.

As RT reports, a number of TV crews in attendance at the Tuesday meeting captured footage of a presentation slide titled “Ocean Multipurpose System: Status-6,” which allegedly showed details of a new nuclear submarine weapons system. The Kremlin has admitted that the footage, which appeared on TV, was “secret data” that should have never been broadcast.....

Questions we should ask now are:  What else is intended to be shown to each other by the three main players, USA/Israel/NATO (acting as one player) and Russian and China?  When will they start killing the citizens of each others countries?  Will my city or your city become a target?

How pathetic is this? Bush Sr trying to salvage family name

Too late papa Bush!!   Your entire family of fake Christians is doomed to be forever known as the satanic cult that's responsible for the death of thousands of innocent people around the world.  If this family had even a modicum of decency they would have discouraged Jeb Bush from joining the other potential destroyers of the USA who are running for the 2016 presidency.

From GuardianUK:
'Iron-ass' Cheney and 'arrogant' Rumsfeld damaged America, says George Bush Sr

Former president claims hawkish reaction to 9/11 attacks and desire to ‘get our way in the Middle East’ hurt his son’s administration, says new biography

Former US president George HW Bush has hit out at Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, two of the most senior figures in his son’s administration, labelling them too “hardline” and “arrogant” in their handling of the September 11 attacks.

A new biography of the 41st president – Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey Of George Herbert Walker Bush – reveals that Bush Sr held Cheney and Rumsfeld responsible for the hawkish stance that “hurt” his son’s administration, Fox News reported on Wednesday.

The book, by Jon Meacham, is based on audio diaries that Bush recorded during his time in the White House, as well as interviews with the former president and his wife, Barbara.

Cheney served as defence secretary during George HW Bush’s 1989-1993 presidency and later as vice-president under President George W Bush. After 9/11, Bush Sr told his biographer: “I don’t know, he just became very hardline and very different from the Dick Cheney I knew and worked with....

I am now a proud 9/11 truther after listening to and reading Rebekah Roth

The meticulous, time-consuming research that Rebekah Roth, a retired air stewardess with 30 yrs experience working for a major US airline, has done ... is something to be admired.  Sure, her books are doing well and she is making money, and publishing stories about 9/11 has become a booming industry  ... and why not?!  It's the one event that has changed life all over this planet and so it is only fitting that we don't lose our focus on how it happened and get to the bottom of the crime of all crimes.  Roth has taken the trouble to try and open people's eyes to the hundreds of things about that fateful day that have never made sense to millions of people around the world.

The entire vid above, posted a little over a month ago,  is very interesting but also very long.  The first part is an interview with Christopher Bollyn an investigative reporter who had to flee the USA because of certain things he disclosed about 9/11.  I haven't read more on Bollyn so I don't have an opinion about him or his work but the stuff he relates  is very intriguing.  To get to Rebekah Roth's section go to approx. the 1:15 min. mark and listen with an open mind.

I have read many versions, including the work of Dr.Judy Wood, perhaps the better known of the many trying to make sense of 9/11.  but I dismissed Dr.Wood because she does not have a credible explanation for WTC 7.  I like Roth's explanation.  According to her, a device (plane) meant for that building ran into trouble and didn't make it to that building and so WTC 7 collapsed without a plane crashing into it as it was destined to do, however, without the prop.  That's the best explanation I have ever read for the mysterious collapse of WTC 7.
